This is just same as tamago balls but got the idea from a mummy yesterday in modifying it into cheese sticks.
Pandan Tamago Cheese Sticks
Ingredients:
1 egg yolk
100g potato starch
20g castor sugar
10g milk powder (any milk powder also can...baby's fm/goat milk powder/adult full cream milk powder/etc)
20g grated cheddar cheese
1 tbsp Pandan Juice / MILK (for plain milky sticks)
(you just need to blend the pandan leaves with a little water, then sieve away the leaves, put the juice in the fridge overnight and next day throw the watery part on top and use the thick paste below)
Steps:
1) Mix egg yolk and sugar, using hand whisk beat till pale white.
2) Add in milk powder, pandan juice and Cheese, mix well with hand.
3) Add in potato starch by 3 times slowly until can form a soft dough, then can stop adding the flour. (Not sticky soft dough)
4) Pre-heat oven at 160°c.
5) Divide the dough into 20-25 portions. Roll the dough become a stick.
6) Place the sticks on tray then using a chopstick to poke the holes on each stick...and bake for 20 mins at 160°c OR until the base golden brown.
