05/02/2015 Thursday - Almond Crisps



Good morning mummies! Yesterday met 2 mummies in this group and had a happy meet with them.. Both of them saying that "wow! You are very tall!" Hahaha! Yes I am... ^.^
Breakfast: Apple Cinnamon rolled oat and steam baby corns
Lunch & Dinner: Fried Rice and pork garlic soup
Teatime: Baby version Almond Crackers and orange juice

Apple Cinnamon rolled oat
Ingredients
2 tbsp rolled oat
1 small apple
1/3 cup fresh milk or full cream milk
1/4 cup water
Dash of cinnamon powder.

Steps:
1) cut the apple into smaller cube then blend with the milk till smooth
2) pour the apple puree, water, rolled oat in a small pot, cook under small fire for 2-3mins or the oat turn tender.
3) add in cinnamon powder and ready to serve warm




Baby Fried Rice
Ingredients :
2 tbsp mix grains or white rice (soak overnight)
1 slice lettuce 

1/8 green capsicum
1 brown button mushroom
1 shallot

1 egg
3 baby corns
3 tbsp cubed carrot 

dash of pepper
4-5 drops Liquid Amino

Steps:
1) steam rice for 20mins
2) cut all other ingredients into small tiny bite size
3) sautéed shallot with grape seed oil or any vege oil till fragrance
4) add in egg and cook scrumble egg
5) add in all other ingredients and stir fry for 1 min
6) pour in 2 tbsp water and close lid, shimmer for 2 mins
7) add in dash of pepper and liquid Amino.
8) add in cooked rice and stir fry till well mix
9) off fire and ready to serve warm



Almond Crisps
Ingredients

2 egg white
40g cake flour
8g sugar (if adult can put 15g sugar)
10g unsalted butter (if use salted butter can omit salt)
1 rice size salt
some almond flakes

Steps: (very simple i just use 1 pair of chopsticks)
1) Beat egg white, sugar & salt till combined
2) sift in the cake flour
3) mix in the melted butter
4) put in fridge to rest for 30mins ( can skip if no time)
5) scoop with a teaspoon of batter on the non sticky baking sheet with space
6) use the back of the spoon to flatten the batter as thin as possible
7) place some almond flakes on the batter (do not over lap)
8) bake at preheated oven of 150'C for 15mins or golden brown
