throw back 27/01/2015 Tuesday


Happy Tuesday~ ^.^
I noticed something that strange which is ~ i never yawn during the time i am cooking for my lo in the early early morning.... I observed some times already (since 1 year ago) and i only start yawning when i am driving... Wondering if it is because i am too busy during cooking and no time to yawn???? @@
Breakfast: vegetables cheesy "pie" & baby corn
Lunch & Dinner: tomato noodle in miso vege egg drops soup
Teatime: Red bean Angel Cake & papaya




Vegetables Cheesy Pie 
Ingredients:
1 slice of bread (i use homemade bread)
1 tbsp diced carrot
1 tbsp chopped onion
1 tbsp chopped cauliflower
1 tbsp grated cheddar cheese
1/2 egg + 1 tsp milk

Steps:
1) roll the bread into thinner slice then put into a baking bowl, cut off excess bread to form nicely bread bowl.
2) brush some egg on the bread bowl surface and bake at preheat oven at 150'C for 3 mins
3) heat frying pan and add some oil, stir fry the onion till fragrance, add in carrot and cauliflower stir fry for 3 mins.
4) take out the baked bread bowl, put the following ingredients in sequence:---> cheese -> stir fried vegetables -> egg -> cheese
5) bake at 150'C for 15 mins, then 160'C for 5 mins




Miso Vegetables Soup

Ingredients:
white radish
broccoli
baby corn
seaweed
1/2 egg
2 tsp miso paste



Red Bean Angel Cake

ingredients (A):
1) 100ml fresh milk/fullcream milk
2) 40ml grapeseed oil (or any vege oil)
3) 1 rice size of salt
4) 70g cake flour
5) 1 tbsp cooked red bean (can omit)

ingredients (B):
200g egg white
75g castor sugar (i use 45g only)
1 tbsp lemon juice

Steps:
1) put ingredients A1, 2, 3 into a sauce pan and heat it till warm (i do not how hot), then add in the red bean and cake flour, mix well till no slump.
2) preheat oven at 170'C
3) beat egg white with lemon juice till bubbly and add in sugar by 3 separate times, beat till soft peak.
4) add 1/3 of the egg white into the ingredient A batter, use spatula to fold in well combined, then add in the balance of egg white and fold in well combined too.
5) pour the cake batter into a 8" / 20cm chiffon cake mold, tab on table twice to release excess air in the batter.
6) bake at 160'C for 30-40 mins
7) insert a skewer into cake and come out clean, its done.
8) take out the cake and turn up side down immediately, cut into pieces after cooling down
