18/5/2015 Monday meals

Woke up as usual at 5 am this morning. I prepared 3 types of foods this morning and 1 additional food was prepared last night but baked this morning.  Unfortunately,  the steam angel cake (using egg white only) was failed.... I guessed I shouldn't steam the cake, I should bake it.... will try again next time because the cake taste is very nice but only the outlook is unsatisfied. ..

Breakfast: Tomato cheese rice egg roll and fresh milk
Lunch and dinner : pork & scallop porridge
Teatime: sweet potato flower bites

Tomato cheese rice egg roll
Natural sweetness from the tomato with combination of cheese.... taste so superb! !
Ingredients :
1/2 cup cooked mix grains (or white rice)
10g grated cheddar cheese 
1 egg
6 cherry tomatoes  (i bought from cameron highland,  so sweet)
Dash of pepper powder 

Steps:
1) mix all ingredients in a bowl and stir well
2) heat the egg roll pan under low heat and brush with some oil
3) pour in all the mixture and spread evenly 
4) start rolling from the side until another side end

5) cook till light goldenbrown  and slice, ready to serve warm

Pork scallops porridge



Sweet potato flower bites 
(Flourless and sugarless)
Ingredients :
150g cooked mashed sweet potato 
5g unsalted butter
1 egg yolk

Steps:
1) add in butter into mashed sweet potato while it's still hot
(If using cool down sweet potato,  just use melted butter is fine)
2) add in the egg yolk and mix well
3) put the mixture into a piping bag ((using desired shape nozzle))
4) squeeze out each flower on the baking tray which laid with parchment paper or nonstick baking sheet 
5) bake at pre-heated oven of 180'C for 1 5-10mins
6) turning the tray in and out half way baking
