19/5/2015 Tuesday ☆♡☆♡

This morning I woke up at 4am because I need to iron hubby's clothes. Finished ironing at 5.12am then start cooking meals for my 21.5mo lo.

Breakfast: Steam sweet corn, mini pizza and fresh milk 

Lunch and dinner : fussilli with cheese sauce and honeydew yogurt 

Teatime : 5 min bun sticks and red bean dessert

5 min bun sticks
Ingredients :
2 eggs
55g high protein flour 
90g fresh milk or full cream milk or water
35g unsalted butter 
2 tsp muscovado sugar or any sugar or omit

Steps :
1) sieve flour and set aside 
2) cook milk, sugar and butter in a wok with low heat until boiling
3) add in flour and stir quickly with a spatula until dough is form and non stick
4) off fire and remove dough from the wok, let it cool down
5) when hand can touch on dough,  add in egg 1 by egg, mix well 1 egg then only add in another 
6) once the dough turns into very wet dough, can stop adding egg (i use up all)
7) put the well mix batter into a plastic bag 
8) Pre heat oven at 190'C 
9) cut a 1cm width hole at the edge of the plastic,  squeeze out sticks
10) bake for 18mins or till light golden brown, turning halfway.

Tips: I divided the batter into 2 plastic bag,  kept 1 into freezer for next use within a week. 

Fusilli with cheese sauce 
Ingredients :
1 bowl of fussilli,  cook as per instructions on the packaging,  drain dry, soak in ice cold water for 30 seconds,  drain dry, add 1-2 tsp olive oil or grape seed oil and mix well 

Cheese sauce with any vegetables or meat as desired or your little one likes

Ingredients :
25g chicken breast  (diced in cube size)
1 brown button mushroom  (diced)
2 tbsp mix vegetables  (carrot, pea & corn)
20g cheddar cheese
1/2 cup fresh milk or full cream milk 
Some broccoli  (cut in small florets)
1 clove garlic
Some ham (optional. I add in because left over from making mini pizza)
(2 tsp any flour + 3 tbsp water) for thickening the sauce

Steps:
1) heat pan and add in some olive oil,  sautéed the garlic till fragrance. 
2) add in the chicken and ham, stir fry till light golden brown 
3) add in mushroom,  broccoli,  mix vegetables, stir fry for 1 min
4) add in some water to shimmer till vegetables are cooked and tender.
5) add in cheese, cook till melted.
6) add in milk and the thickening mixture, add in dash of pepper powder and Italian herbs,  Off Fire.. done
