throw back 8/12/2014 Monday



Good Morning dear all mummies! I feel lucky whenever i see rainbow~ hope today is a lucky happy day for everybody!!
Last night i flipped over the recipe books/print outs and decided what shall i cook this morning! After DL my 16mo lo at 4am, i can immediately start cooking at 4:30am.

Breakfast: pumpkin prune cupcake and honey dew yogurt drink
Lunch: spiral pasta with pumpkin potato sauce
Teatime: little milky tamago (melt in the mouth) and honey dew yogurt drinks

simple and easy

i follow the recipe as attached in the photo comments. But i made 1/2 of the recipe only. and i reduced the sugar from 50g to 30g only ( 100g / 2 = 50g ) .





Pasta Sauce Recipe (No salt No cheese added)
Ingredients
1 shallot (chopped)
2 cloves of garlic (chopped)
2 baby corn (roughly chopped)
5 cherry tomatoes
pumpkin puree / raw pumpkin cut into small cubes
1 small potato (cubed)
3 prawns (or you can use minced meat)

Steps:
1) heat pan with olive oil. saute the garlic and shallot till fragrance.
2) add in prawn and stir fry a while.
3) add in all other ingredients and stir fry.
4) pour water until the level can cover all ingredients. shimmer till the potato is tender.
5) pour in blender while cooler a bit, blend till smooth. (for my case, i use tokebi hand blender and i just blend it on the stove while it is still cooking)
6) add dash of pepper and done.

Little Milky Tamago 
(Must Try!!! super yummy till mummy also stealing some to eat)
Simple Ingredients (4 only)
1 egg yolk
80g Potato Starch (i used organic one)
20g sugar ( i used 15g sieved muscovado sugar)
10g milk powder

Steps:
1) mix the egg yolk and sugar, using hand whisk to beat till pale white.
2) add in milk powder and mix well.
3) add in the potato starch by 3 times separately.(maybe not use all the potato starch), mix by spatula or spoon till dough is form...it suppose not sticky soft dough.
4) Pre-heat oven at 150'C.
5) divide the dough into 3 portions. Roll the dough become a stick, cut by knife at 1cm size each and roll into a small ball.
6) place the balls onto a non stick baking sheet.
7) bake for 12-15mins. when half way baking, take out the tray and turn over the other side and continue baking.
